More About Me

Charlene Hanson loves matching people and homes.  Her passion for both what she does and the people she serves has been the foundation on which she has built her real estate career over the past 3+ decades.  Her insightful knowledge gained from roles as both a fee appraiser and bank review appraiser, as well as a broker, have allowed Charlene to deliver unparalleled results for her clients.

Charlene’s incredible ability to create connections has always started with one thing: Listening.  Listening to her clients’ needs and desires has always been of the utmost importance. While most of her transactions are repeat clients and referrals from past clients, she remains passionate working with first time homebuyers.  Remaining communicative with her clients and educating them throughout the process continues to produce strong outcomes and stress-free results.

Remaining current in real estate industry happenings and changes is paramount for Charlene.  She has previously earned the MCNE (Master Certified Negotiation Expert) and ASP (Accredited Staging Professional) designations and is trained to teach homebuyer classes for the WSHFC for their down payment assistance programs. Charlene is also a 13-year winner of the Five Star Real Estate Agent award (as seen in Seattle magazine) for outstanding customer service.

As a lifetime resident, Charlene enjoys living and working in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  In her spare time she loves spending time with her grown children and adorable grandson, family game nights, gardening, and painting kindness rocks.  She believes giving back to the community is a social responsibility; she has been a Big Sister through BBBS, participates in Windermere’s annual Community Service Day, engages with adopted Christmas families, serves at community suppers, and supports the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation.
